Pemandu bas yang memandu secara berbahaya di Lebuhraya Timur-Barat dekat Gerik, Perak sehingga tular, digantung tugas serta-merta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pengerusi Konsortium E-Mutiara Bhd (E-Mutiara), Che Ibrahim Che Ismail, berkata pemandu berusia 36 tahun itu digantung tugas semalam selepas video mengenainya tular.-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Pemandu berkenaan sudah bekerja dengan Konsortium E-Mutiara sejak dua tahun lalu dan hari ini kita sudah beri surat kepada pemandu berkenaan untuk membuat penjelasan berhubung tindakannya itu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Saya akui sangat terkejut melihat video yang tular kerana ia membahayakan penumpang. Saya juga berterima kasih kepada pemandu lori berkenaan yang bertolak ansur bagi mengelak berlaku kemalangan. “Saya difahamkan, polis dari Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Gerik sudah memanggil pemandu berkenaan untuk merakam percakapan dan kita serahkan pihak polis untuk siasatan,” katanya ketika dihubungi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tegasnya, Konsortium E-Mutiara tidak akan berkompromi dengan mana-mana pemandu yang bertindak sedemikian dan tindakan tegas akan diambil termasuk pecat serta-merta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Kita sentiasa mengadakan taklimat bersama pemandu dan sentiasa menitikberatkan supaya memandu secara berhemah kerana ia membabitkan nyawa orang ramai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Pelbagai cara sudah dibuat oleh syarikat bagi memastikan aspek keselamatan diberi keutamaan, namun masih ada pemandu yang cuai dan memandu secara berbahaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Kita juga mengalu-alukan orang ramai merakam video kerana kita sendiri tidak tahu cara pemanduan sebenar pemandu bas di luar sana,” katanya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
